The new 2010 Subaru Impreza XV

Subaru has exposed a latest generation of Impreza for the 2010 model year, Subaru Impreza XV. The XV offers the Impreza’s original and unique symmetrical All-Wheel Drive drivability in all-weather road conditions which is contained in a new exterior.

The source of the Impreza 5 door model, the Impreza XV uses a stiffer suspension. A strut-type suspension system was created for the front & a double wishbone suspension for the rear. It is also highlighted by claddings around wheel arches, a latest design of front grill & bumper, & thicker rear spoiler & roof rails. The interior design of the Impreza XV was differentiated from all other models.

The Subaru boxer diesel 2.0-liter DOHC turbocharged engine, & is fitted with an aluminum alloy cylinder block consists metal matrix composite journal. To get best diesel combustion, the stroke was extended by 11 mm & the bore was shortened by 6 mm evaluated to the SUBARU BOXER 4 cylinder 2.0 litre petrol engine (EJ20). The turn off pitch was shortened to 98.4 mm, which is similar to that of SUBARU BOXER 6-cylinder petrol engine, while the petrol engine (EJ20) has 113.0 mm.

The Subaru Impreza XV having other features like engine mounting system, symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system, active torque split AWD, centre differential AWD with viscous LSD, electronic control 4-speed automatic transmission with SPORTSHIFT, SPORTSHIFT E-4AT, dual-range 5-speed manual transmission, 6-speed manual transmission for Subaru Boxer Diesel, 205/55R16+6.5J aluminum wheels, and a flat tyre repair kit (optional for 2.0D model).
