HAMANN-Motorsport, the tuning expert based in Laupheim, has modified one of the Fiat´s sports model, the Fiat 500 Abarth. They thought to give the Fiat 500 Abarth by more power, HAMANN have changed the vehicle with 5 performance enhancements.
The first improve “HS I”, applies a few modifications in the engine electronics, boots the little scooter up to 160 hp, the torque of the 1.4 liter petrol car increases 206 to strong 285 Nm. The second upgrade “HS II”, includes of software setting, adapted exhaust turbo charger, & optimized air filter case, drives the Abarth to 180 hp & 295 Nm torque. The Fiat 500 Abarth with 2 race-qualified modification kits which include an total engine modification used for the power setting “HS RACE”, HAMANN uses forged pistons, enhanced connection rods, a custom-made turbo charger with charge air cooler, a race clutch with weight-optimized one-mass flywheel & a new control electronic. This renders 240 hp & a torque of 330 Nm.
HAMANN-Motorsport presents an alteration for the manual transmission by applying a long 5th gear, re-engineers the front skirt with included LED daytime running lights, & fits the front & back by special wing extensions.
