Mercedes-Benz has exposed the first diesel hybrid from its E class model, Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID. Introduced with a superior performance with low consumption, the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID is one of the demonstrations of Mercedes-Benz ability to make efficient vehicles.

With a shared output of 165 kW (224 hp), the E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID consumes 4.1 l/100 km with CO2 emissions of 109 g/km (of 0.48 grams per hp).
